The real greek........
This was the day when i went to the real greek to tell them that my group and i were going to film.
Then disaster happened. I went into the restaurant and asked for the manager. Which was a lady, then one of the workers there told me that she wasn't working today but the actual manager of the restaurant was present. So i was given the opportunity to talk to him and tell him that we were allowed to film here and the other manager had already given us permission to film at the outside part of the restaurant.
After explaining myself and telling him what we wanted to film, he said to me that we aren't allowed to film on the westfield premises without proof from not only the manager of the restaurant but also from westfield because the place belongs to westfield as much as them.I tried to convince him and tell him that we were told that we are allowed to film here and that it wouldn't even take a lot of time. The maximum it would take would be 30mins and we would even show him what we film at the end. He said that he needed proof like what exactly we would be doing by email and he would need a risk assessment and westfield's approval. Also that he would need to show his 'director' and that could possibly take about a week.
So it was a NO from the real greek, which was the most disappointing thing that happened to us since we started filming because we all were looking forward to filming there but we got rejected and i had to spread the bad news to people.
