PLANNING - What songs we could have done.......

1) Adele - Chasing pavements

Advantages: 

• The original video is basic and as a group of girls, we could have recreated it to make it more fun and entertaining.
• Adele is a female singer and in our group we only have females which only allows us to do female artists 
• The song is to our target audience and the lyrics are narrative and easy to follow

Disadvantages:

• Its too slow paced for our liking and as teenage girls we like something more up beat
• Adele is a solo singer and none of us feel confident enough to learn all her lyrics and recreate the video alone 
• There is only one location and the exam board want us to use different locations and props and costume so we can experiment.

2)Tinie Tempah- Pass out 

Advantages:

• It has nice special effects and transitions
• We all like Tinie Tempah
• It presents the artist effectively, shows his creativity and imagination 

Disadvantages

• Its too dark 
• He is a male artist and like we keep saying, we are a girl group
• Too much editing and too much going on

3) Girls Aloud- Something New

Advantages 

• The editing is good and the writing made the video look unique
• They had a contrast between colour, black and white.

Disadvantage

• The use of writing was over the top and used too much
• There are only 4 of us and 5 girls in the band
• The costumes were something we were not able to get 
• Too many repeated shots
